To be eligible for an FAA A&P license, you must meet specific experience and education requirements. This generally includes either:
18 months of practical experience in airframes or powerplants, or
30 months of experience working on both airframes and powerplants concurrently.
You must also be at least 18 years old, have English proficiency, and pass the FAA-administered exams.

The FAA A&P exams are divided into three sections: General, Airframe, and Powerplant. You must pass all three to obtain the full A&P license.
